About Us
Craig Travel started in Workington around 40 years ago by Shirley Craig. Around 25 years ago it was bought by Stewart Phillips. 16 Years ago it was purchased by Andrew Nelson who still owns it to this day. Andrew also owns Admiral Travel in Altrincham, Cheshire.
Craig travel thrived under the new ownership and outgrew its premises so the decision to move to Murray Road was taken. We continued to grow, so chose to open another branch in Cockermouth, initially on Main Street before moving to our current premises on Station Road.
